2023 Translation Campaign

Did you know that if you could speak six majority world languages, you would be able to share the gospel (potentially of course) with nearly half of the people on earth? That’s right, over 3 billion people! Getting truth into a language people can understand is vital to fulfilling the Great Commission.

Many of you know that two years ago, our team set an ambitious goal of completing the translations of all twenty SGC courses into six majority-world languages by December 31st, 2023, and I want you to know that we’re getting really close!

As of this month, we’re more than three quarters of the way around the track, we’re on pace, and the finish line is in sight. With God’s help and your partnership, by August 1st, 2023 the last courses in these languages will be in the hands of our translators. By December these translations will be completed, ready upload to our SGC App and webpage, and made available to eager trainers and students all over the world.

Who is this for?

These translations are for people like Eli who trains Ugandans and Sudanese refugees; like Roger in PNG who testifies that these courses have changes his life and ministry, and who is now training others; like Sarah in Latin America who was finally awakened to the gospel while studying Exploring the New Testament!

These are exciting days for the Shepherds Global Classroom team, and our many friends and partners.

Why am I telling you this?

Because we need your prayers and gifts to help us complete this race to the finish line. During the months of July and August, we’re asking the Lord for $37,000 to help us complete our current translation contracts, and to get ready for our final translation campaign of the year. When those translations are completed, and then uploaded to our sharing platforms, we’ll have reached our goal for 2023!

Will you prayerfully consider helping us with your best gift this month so we can get this Christ-centered teaching into the hands of underserved Christian leaders around the world? I’m sure you agree with me that it’s one of the best investments you could possibly make in the kingdom of God.

Thank You!

When the Holy Spirit was poured out on the day of Pentecost, representatives from 14 nations heard the word of God in their own language, signifying and highlighting the importance of translating Biblical teaching. And that’s what this campaign is all about.

Thank you for your prayers and support this month. We value your partnership with Shepherds Global Classroom.

For underserved pastors everywhere,
Tim Keep
President, SGC
