What Is Global Training?
Several times each year, Shepherds Global Classroom sends a team of Global Trainers, led by Dr. Randall McElwain, to work alongside local ministry leaders around the world. The purpose is simple: to help them launch their own training programs using SGC curriculum.
These training events are typically hosted by ministry networks or organizations that want to see their leaders better equipped. We usually recommend gathering a group of 15 to 20 potential leaders, with the expectation that each participant will go on to train others in their own context.
How It Works
Request
A ministry network or organization contacts SGC to request training.
Gather
Gather 15–20 local leaders who will train others in their own context.
Train
Our team teaches the curriculum and shows leaders how to teach it effectively.
Multiply
Leaders return to their communities and begin training others locally.
Over the course of several days, our team works directly with pastors and ministry leaders, showing them how to use the curriculum, how to teach it effectively, and how to build a structured training program that can be sustained locally.
The goal is not just to train individuals, but to multiply leaders. As these men and women return to their communities, they begin training others, expanding access to biblical education in places where it is often limited.
