Position Summary
The Beta Tester / Evaluator reviews translated SGC course materials to ensure they are clear, accurate, and understandable for the Kiswahili target audience. The goal is to identify issues in translation quality, clarity, and usability before final release.
Key Responsibilities
- Review translated course materials for clarity, accuracy, and natural language use
- Identify unclear, incorrect, or awkward translations
- Provide constructive feedback and suggested improvements
- Ensure terminology is consistent and understandable
- Communicate feedback clearly and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Kiswahili (native or near-native)
- Good comprehension of English
- Familiarity with Christian theology and ministry terms (preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to give clear feedback
Outcome of the Role
Improved translation quality, resulting in clear and usable course materials for local church contexts
