For Becky and me, each Wednesday is a day for fasting and prayer, with a special focus on the Shepherds Global Classroom team, pastor-trainers, translators, and those of you who partner with us through prayer and giving. It’s our way of reminding Jesus how much we need and depend on Him. And we would love for you to join us!
My deepest prayer is that God would use SGC as a catalyst for the renewal of pastors all over the world—and that through them, the Holy Spirit would renew and revive the global Church! Pray with us that the truth we teach will continue to shape and reshape the minds of pastors. Pray that the Holy Spirit will kindle a flame of holy love in their hearts through Christ-centered training and empower these “ordinary” men and women for service.
I can think of no greater joy than that through SGC; God would strengthen the confidence of pastors everywhere in the word of God. He’ll rekindle their faith, reignite their passion, make them steadfast in suffering, and encourage them in battle. May it be so, Father!
As I’ve been seeking the Lord—especially regarding the pressing needs of the ministry—He’s gently reminded me that as we stay focused on this calling, He’ll never let us down!
